A favorite children’s storyteller, teacher and entertainer from our own Audubon Public Library, Miss Lucy will be the narrator with the ASO presenting the beloved story “The Snowman.” 
   
       
  Evan Jones, baritone

  Evan Jones, baritone, currently pursuing a Doctorate in Vocal Performance at the Eastman School of Music, and a graduate of Williamsville North HS, will bring us music from the classical, popular and holiday repertoires.  Mr. Jones has sung a wide variety of roles in opera, musical theater, operetta and more.

  Vocalis Chamber Choir, a select ensemble of dedicated professionals, performs a cappella choral music of all eras.  Highlighting the Shakespearean theme, the choir will sing during the pre-concert, following which they join the ASO for a unique collaboration.  Saul Elkin, founder & director of Shakespeare in Delaware Park, has earned widespread acclaim, both as a professor of theatre and as a professional actor and director.  Dr. Elkin joins the ASO to introduce and expand our knowledge concerning Shakespeare and his impact on music.

  David Schmude, cello

David Schmude, cellist, with a Bachelor of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, is a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.  Mr. Schmude has performed in some of the most prestigious halls in Europe, Japan and the United States; he has participated in a number of festivals including the Pacific Music Festival in Japan.  Currently, Mr. Schmude teaches cello at the Orchard Park Music School.
