The Amherst Symphony presents a series of four free concerts each season from October to April, helping to enrich the cultural life of Amherst and Western New York.  All concerts are performed at the Amherst Middle School, 55 Kings Highway, Amherst, NY.
 
Please join us next on February 12 for an afternoon guaranteed to excite the entire family with events beginning at:
 
1:15 pm - Instrument Zoo.  See, hear, and have the family try the instruments of the orchestra courtesy of McClellan's Music House, Monaco's Violin Shop and Buffalo Drum Outlet.
 
2:15 - Pre-concert featuring the incomparable jazz stylings of Chris Ziemba and Friends.
 
3 pm - Main Stage concert as Chris is featured soloist in Ellington Portrait, followed by an eclectic mix which completes the family afternoon with Benjamin Britten's "Young Persons' Guide to the Orchestra".
